Every great journey begins with a single spark of inspiration. For Lunar Escapes Holidays, that spark was ignited on a train ride back from the lush, untamed landscapes of Dooars. As a newlywed couple with an insatiable wanderlust, we were entirely awestruck by the hidden natural treasures of North Bengal. Travel was never just a casual hobby for us; it was a relentless calling, one so strong that it often earned us affectionate scoldings from our parents for being constantly on the move. In our first year of marriage alone, we embarked on three major expeditions, followed by four the next, always chasing the thrill of new horizons. By the winter of 2012, we realized we could no longer keep this boundless passion for exploration under wraps.

 

On December 25, 2020, we took a leap of faith to share our love for travel with the world, and Lunar Escapes was officially conceived. We started with a simple, driving vision: to guide more visitors to the breathtaking, often-overlooked corners of our country. What began as a heartfelt desire to showcase places like Dooars quickly blossomed into a premier travel venture. Today, well over a decade later, we have established a proud legacy of curating exceptional domestic journeys.

 

Our vision, however, didn’t stop at our borders. Driven by a desire to experience the world’s most bountiful offerings and affluent lifestyles, we expanded our expertise to craft luxury overseas trips for travelers eager to look beyond the familiar. Our goal is no longer just to satiate our own thirst for travel, but to ignite that same transformative passion in others.
